Village Updates:

Routine monitoring on April 29, 2026, showed inadequate disinfection for drinking water. Disinfection is used to destroy harmful microbes that can be in drinking water. It is likely that you will need to boil your water for the next two days. Notification will be made when the ADVISORY is lifted. In the meantime, bring tap water to a rolling boil, boil for one minute, and cool before using. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and preparing food until further notice.   There will be a regular board meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Candor on May 28, 2026 commencing at 6:30 p.m. at the Candor Free Library (Community Room-downstairs), 2 Bank St. Candor, NY.
